Senior Assistant Dean & Director, Advisor, Teaching and Learning
Michelle Lopez is the Senior Assistant Dean for Student Success and Director of Advisor Teaching & Learning within Faculty Advancement & Student Success (FASS). She has led broad-reaching retention, advising, and outreach initiatives that support underrepresented STEM researchers, pre-graduate school preparation, first-generation and transfer students, and National Scholarship applicants. Most recently, she represented Student Success on the Advising GE Task Force, spearheaded the Excellence in Academic Advising campus review, and oversees ongoing professional learning opportunities for advisors through the Center for Teaching and Learning.
