Open Educational Resources

A current CSU study estimates the share of homeless students at 8.7% and food insecure students at 21%. At the same time, textbook costs have risen astronomically. The result is a large number of students no longer purchase textbooks. What can you do to help?

In 2016, SDSU Instructional Technology Services (ITS) applied for and received two grants to promote awareness among faculty about affordable learning solutions and to encourage faculty to adopt cheaper or even free instructional resources including textbooks. As part of this program, we are providing stipends to faculty for various activities including faculty ambassadors, faculty adopters, and faculty materials reveiws. At this Lunch & Learn, come find out how you can participate.

* Graduate students are welcome to attend all CTL events, space permitting. If an event fills up, GTAs will be moved to the waitlist in the order in which they registered.
